| The undergraduate major in Human Biology currently offers two emphasis tracks: Economics and Psychology/Cognitive Sciences. The Human Biology major has a strong foundation in biology, including courses required for medical schools and other biomedical professional schools. The emphasis tracks add both lower and upper division economics or psychology/cognitive science courses. Both tracks allow a significant flexibility in choosing courses.

Economics
This emphasis provides dual training in biology and economics with the research experience focused on the application of economic theory to health, environmental or other biological issues.
Psychology/Cognitive Science:
This emphasis provides dual training in biology and behavioral and cognitive sciences. and focuses on the integration of biology with these social sciences.
